EPHEMERA
CREATIVITY can be fleeting. Some call its sudden arrival via inspiration a 'spark'. Other's describe it as a 'bolt of lightening.' Neither is guaranteed to stick around very long. So much of 'creativity' requires 'catching it' before it's gone. These works are an attempt to catch what it means to 'catch' creativity; what it looks and feels like to someone who's purpose in life seems to be snagging inspiration and keeping it as long as possible, like a firefly in cupped hands.
